Perhaps McCarthy can get more out of Schlupp than Vieira could but,
while I understand the lack of Hughes and McArthur leaves us short in midfield, the inclusion of Luka fills me with great concern.

The possibility of he and Doucoure getting yellow cards is great, just hope they both stay on the field.

Be interesting to see if McCarthy can conjure up some tactical magic but it is a big ask.

I used to dread seeing PVs line-ups, the feeling has not gone away.

That could be a Roy lineup other than possibly he’d have Ayew instead of either Edouard or Olise.
I predict 4 or 5 bookings for us including Luka, Doucoure and Ward.
Arsenal to score from one of the many free kicks conceded.
If Arsenal don’t turn up I’m hoping for 1-1 , but expecting 0-2.

We are going to be pressed back for large parts and Luka - whilst not the player he was is still an intelligent footballer. Hughes we don’t know if he’s fit.

Schlupp maybe yep, but what else could he have done? Ayew - would have meant losing one of the front three, which would mean no threat, Eze would mean too lightweight.

I don’t really see what else he could have done.
