Makes sense but there isn't anyone else anyway. Not sure if he has enough experience to take on a caretaking role until the end of the season given what we need to do?

Denial is not just a river in Egypt

Very pleased about this. He is a familiar character about the place, knows the players, performing well with the U21s and is just the ‘character’ we need at the moment.

He also bleeds red & blue blood - was an amazing leader/Captain for our club - and definitely up for the challenge!

I’m sure they will bring Derry back to help and rumours about Ray Lewington coming on board as well.

Agreed, if we do go down then it will not be because of a lack of effort in the following games. Be an interesting team sheet on Sunday.

Let's hope someone whispers to him in the ear about JJ-boys Ayew & Schlupp. They are part of Vieira's early exit...

Paddy is a stand up character, used to live next to my grandad and stopped by to check on him daily (I'm across the pond, so couldn't).

I wish him all the best!

He would probably happily fight any player who doesn’t leave it all on the pitch.
He used to

Paddy anointed on Paddy's day. I hope he will perform the odd miracle here and there.

and drive the relegation-snakes out of Selhurst

Love Paddy but come on, taking on established PL managers who are also fighting for survival! Hope he succeeds but this really is turning into a s***show

A quote from Paddy Mac

We’ve got some excellent attacking players here and we want to get the ball up to them, in control, as many times as possible. I’m sure that up against any defenders, with their quality, they can be a real problem.”

Really if they were doing that we would not be where we are now
Truth be told our strikers not up to the job. They have had loads of chances and dont see it changing
