Arsenal are in superb form,as evidenced this afternoon by their demolition of a skilful Fulham side.
We maybe well beaten next Sunday, our fourth straight defeat (unless we get an unexpected result at Briighton, quite unlikely)and an inevitable battle to avoid the drop at all costs, should concentrate the minds of SP and the Board.
2-0 defeat against unstoppable Arsenal.

You've got half of it right.

If we get a win against Brighton tomorrow I think we will take a point as our tails will be up but if we lose tomorrow I believe we will get spanked and will be the end of Vieras reign

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

0-1 at half time and 0-3 full time. The gamble of buying or loaning cheap and hoping enough of them come good might not work enoughin time. Fingers crossed.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

I think we will concede an early goal, then defend valiantly for 70 minutes but ultimately end up losing 3:0

Arsenal 92 Palace Nil 0

Newly renamed Crystal Palace Nil (formerly Crystal Palace) see the ball in the Arsenal net after just 30 seconds, through a spectacular 40-yard Bukayo Saka backpass own goal. It's disallowed after the video ref spots Edsonne Edouard exposing himself to an Arsenal supporter while in an offside position on the touchline. It is, nevertheless, Edouard's first contribution to a match for weeks.

After that, it's all downhill for Palace. 17-0 down after five minutes, owner Steve Parish takes to the touchline and in a remarkable sequence of events, with his feet firmly planted three feet behind the whitewash, a stray Granit Xhaka pass deflects off his nose (which, unlike the remainder of his body, has remained within the playing area) completely fooling Vicente Guiaita for Arsenal's 18th goal.

OE to start and score a couple now that he knows he might have a chance of playing a few games on the spin.
