been a season ticket holder for the past 23 years, ive seen some real dross in that time, as im sure you all have as well.... but this current team.... just feels different, i just dont feel any warmth from this team, i feel like this team has no identity... and no connection with the fans....it feels like a bunch of individuals.... its really sad. ive lost my buzz and mojo for palace. and just fed up of playing for a draw.the atmosphere is taking a hammering by this current team, its not what it used to be. this team gives jack shat to sing about..... every away team now sings "wheres your famous atmosphere" how has it come to this??????? im fed up and have no motivation for the next match
apart from forest and bournemouth we must we the only team in the past 20 years out side of the "big guns" not pushing for a european spot you look at brentford and brighton... one of these will be in europe come the end of season newcastle... champions league early noughties and europe now fulham got to europa final southamption 16/17 europe leeds early noughties champs league west ham europa league last year leicester champions league after winning prem everton champions league over the years villa europa 10/11 season wolves 19/20 season
stoke all the above have been in europe while in the prem.... is it to much to ask for?? i dont care if we get relegated the year after!!! LEAST WE CAN SAY WE HAD THE MEMORY!!!
there i said it FED UP

Can’t disagree at all. Pathetic performance and no one really giving a s***. Only Hughes seemed to care but beyond that nothing. Vieira also doesn’t seem to care- all we want as fans is 100% effort and a bit of passion but today, along with many other games, we got neither.

I think this is what Shaun Derry was trying to explain. That playing for CPFC a club founded in history of pride ,passion to rise above pressure. A club where the supporters are known throughout England for its noise & loyalty. Yet every supporter I talk to is calling out if there is any player in it for the club or just the fast car & wage with the hope to get a AWB deal. Derry got sacked for doing a Dyche,Mourihno,Warnock,Ferguson type Dressing room conversation.Yet there seemingly is no room for this in this day & age. Today as is for the past months we see lack of drive, gusto, passion, pride to go at them, to not sit back. It’s hard for each supporter to actually see where this leadership is going to come from, where this light bulb moment of “ let’s do it for the team as a team, for the supporters”. I feel for PV as I hear all the abuse he gets when the live up is announced , but to be honest who is our best 11 ? Who is ? I struggle as they get given match time but Don’t blame the coach - it’s within each £100,000 wage & £95,000 car driver player in this squad to not “chill ire style “ on the pitch. It to go at it 110% from the first whistle Then upto Parish who watches this mediocre crap each week to say “ s*** it ain’t working”
Forever Palace Proud |

After the heights of last season it was always going to be tough to follow! We foolishly made the team around Gallagher and then he went back to Chelsea! Anyways! You get seasons like this one! It makes the good seasons even better what we have to go through!

PV is starting to look way out of his depth, more and more so. We have a young squad now full of players who might constitute the likes who’d perhaps receive praise featuring in an established PL side but the substance to support them is not there. Outside of the younger players we have a lot of players who’d struggle if not be no where near any other PL team. I really wanted PV to do well and last season was genuinely encouraging. We took our foot off the pedal in terms of recruitment however that might not be the worst thing now as PV seems to be on a sharp downward trajectory. I struggle to see things improving as they stand now. My best hope for the future, beyond a miraculous turn around, is a new manager and a number of new players. I couldn’t even pretend to speculate as to likelihood of this. This is all presuming we stay in the PL which still feels unconvincing.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I feared the worst when I saw the starting 11. And the Eagles lived up to expectations. A delayed Christmas present from their goalie, an alert Spanish goalie for us and VAR getting it wrong again, handed us a highly, undeserved point.

I disagree with most of these comments. I detect plenty of pride and passion - not least from our goal scorer. The team just lacks the confidence a win would surely bring. I rate Mateta. He was a handful for the BHA defence, but he had very little service or support.
