I noticed Leicester - who supposedly had money problems - buy good players we could have done with. We could have done with replacing Wilf as a priority. He hasn't been great anyway and his contract situation is destabilising to the team. Vieira should softly, softly tell him to f off if he isn't going to stay.

Maybe the midfield was this transfer windows priority ? what with being short of cash etc (Always assuming that we did actually have a plan)

I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to be angry about. A player has signed for a bigger club than us, and one that has won the league and the cup and played in European competition in the last few seasons,

If we are to progress we need ball-holding attacking midfielders and I desperately hope that the two new signings will fit the bill. Otherwise we will continue to struggle

Strengthening midfield was clearly the priority and this is what happened. As several have noticed, we have a perilous run of fixtures. I personally don't think we'll lose against Brighton. Our new young midfield duo will hopefully get a look in at some stage, and if we have more defensive steel, a draw is possible

I don’t the article even says we were linked. Just makes an assumption that because we have links through Textor that a deal could have happened?!
