If this is in the wrong topic I apologies in advance - Just seen a clickbait article about Brighton having EBar serve machines installed at the Amex, effectively a self serve pint dispenser - we all know how hard it is to get a drink at half time, this would certainly speed things up - if you google the Ebar website you can see the server machines in action - Apparently some bright spark has also added a feature where you can alter pricing, early bird pricing at one amount & another price say 30 minutes before kick off- -

Looks good. But to be fair anything would be better and faster than the halfwits that we employ. However given the uproar about digital season tickets the oldies will be up in arms

Anything we do doesn't work properly for at least a season. Perhaps it would be free drinks all round?

Coming to a Weatherspoons near you soon no doubt. The days of the local guvnor and the friendly bar maid who everybody knows are long gone. If they can reduce staff costs they will. As others have said if it speeds up the queue at half time why not.

I could see it being used in some pubs on matchdays when the queue at the bar is about 6 deep, as it only dispenses one specific brand at a time, not like something with several drink choices - (which in time may well be the next self serve type offering) ebar 2.0 -
