Nothing like being given plenty of notice! 9 days to be exact. The re-arranged game is an 8pm KO on Wednesday 18th January. No doubt arranged around United's busy schedule and not with any due consideration for the fans.

It's been arranged because United potentially don't have another midweek free this season if they go all the way in their cup competitions, and have to play rearranged games against Leeds and us. The game couldn't be confirmed before Sunday because the 18th Jan midweek is being used for FA Cup replays, which United could have been involved in. Leeds do have a replay, so United play us. Unfortunately, with the disruption the World Cup has caused, the United game was always going to be rearranged at almost no notice. There's nothing anyone really could have done about it.
