The Beatles split up closer to W W 1 than today. Next year the release of Love Me Do will be closer to Queen Victoria's reign than today.

I am enjoying Tinker Tailor with Alec Guinness on BBC 4.* This was made late seventies as well as a great story and acting I am fascinated by how Britain looked back then I was in my late teens, early twenties. I had forgotten how awful things were cars / fashion / food / lack of technology it just seems a lifetime ago. *Says it all the only time I watch the BBC is when they put something on that is 50 years old.

Edited by Badger11 (06 Jan 2023 7.42am) What??????? You could buy a Mk 3 Cortina for £2K, dress to kill (on a budget) at Cecil Gee, Chinese food was still a bit of a novelty andyou got proper weekends off from work as all they could do was ring your house and your Mum would say you were out...
