Boy is that lad going to be disappointed over the coming years.

WE needs to talk to him and tell him that everything evolves and that he should embrace change.....All that localism in such a global world...tut tut.

He obviously loves Cornwall and wants to keep it.

Not everyone is like that though.....it's funny how a certain type of person moves to a certain conservative type of place and then argues for the politics of change that will wreck it.

But there you go.

I would imagine that the Cornish Pasty comes under the 'protected' umbrella, so if Gregg's have any savvy marketing nous they'd get them made at the local Cornish bakeries.

'Protected characteristics' for the Cornish pasty.....it's been oppressed in ovens for thousands of years.

Apparently, Cornwall, although home to just one percent of England's population, has 17 per cent of the country's second homes.

It's ripe for the same form of enrichment that our overlords have decided for us.

I bet the residents can't wait for their chance to finally evolve and I for one am cheering on their embracement of change.

Cornwall to be twinned with Thornton Heath ? now that would be hilarious.

This is a nonsense article. To be called a Cornish Pasty, a pasty has to be made in Cornwall. It's totally irrelevant who may or may not have invented the pasty. It was probably the Romans in any case (as well as giving us roads, aqueducts, law and order...).

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Why? Shropshire Blue cheese comes from Scotland. Panama hats come from Ecuador.
