I have heard that he is popular for bush tucker trials. The question is Will the public keep voting for him to stay and get more trials, and should I find a bookmaker to give me odds on him being in the last four or King of the Jungle?

Nick Hancock, now that's a blast from the past. Wouldn't mind seeing him in the jungle....probably a whole lot less annoying than Matt.

Well public voting to keep people in hasn't started yet, whereas public voting for who faces the trials has now finished. So the answer to both parts of your question is "no".

Did anyone read the news story yesterday saying that Ofcom had received over 2,000 complaints about IACGMOOH? Just over half were complaining that Matt Hancock was participating. Ofcom issued a statement saying that it has no jurisdiction over whom broadcasters choose to include in their programmes, but should they include someone whose mere presence is likely to offend, then they are responsible for taking mitigating action. Presumably this means not letting extreme views go unchallenged etc etc. Most of the remainder were about the way Matt Hancock was being treated by other contestants.

Never watched it, I understand that Boy George has been giving Hancock a hard time no doubt trying to deflect attention away from his own bad behaviour in the past.

Must admit I've been dipping in and out (the shame) - mostly to watch the bushtucker (?) trials. To be fair to Hancock, he's was initially nominated by the public for all the trials - he's got on with it in good humour with minimal fuss, collecting maximum stars most of the time. It's become boring viewing as he's so good (probably a shrewd and deliberate tactic) and he's no longer being picked on by the public. Chris Moyles seems to be the new public target as he squirms so badly during the trials. Hancock made a decent account of himself so far and it wouldn't surprise me if he came close to winning. Might not be the worst career move after all. This sort of TV dross appeals to large numbers.
