You almost certainly won't have heard of this guy, but he's playing in the MLS Cup Final this evening, for Philadelphia Union, against LAFC, with Gareth Bale amongst the opposition.

Jack grew up in Norbury, went to Wilson's School in Sutton where he played schools football, was not picked up by any Premier league Club and made his way to the MLS via college in the US and the draft system. He's not had an easy route at all but he's now one of the key players in one of the best teams in the MLS. A local lad done good.

I also went to that school but quite a bit before his time.

Did recognise the name of the coach that spotted him and invited him over to the US though. He was also a pupil at Wilson's...and his dad was a teacher/ football coach whilst I was there.
