Plenty of chatter out there about it all starting to go pear-shaped in Brazil. Good luck to Bolonsaro. About time the Right started fighting back against rigged elections.

With such a close result, and all the bs conspiracy theories that Bolonsaro has been spreading, it was inevitable. It is no wonder that Bolonsaro is compared to his hero, Trump. He imitates him very closely and there is no more actual evidence of any "rigging" in Brazil than there was in the USA, and look what happened there! As the military support Bolsonaro and have a history of mounting coups, them taking over to "restore order" and asking Bolsonaro to lead a government seems pretty likely. I understand the MAGA crowd are supporting Bolonsaro and are now pushing the "rigging" conspiracy theories hard. Maybe that's where you have picked them up!
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

The two main parties in the elections polled the following in 2018.

Bolsonaro appears to be sticking to the constitution his chief of staff saying the transfer of power will go ahead. Still such a volatile country let's hope the law is upheld. The election seems quite well-organised and credible and fair. Congrats to Lula a quite amazing return considering his woes.
