There should be minimum number of games played, TBH. Players like Bobby Goldthorpe - who got schooled in the one game he played in - come to mind

I'm gonna say it now Lanzo, at risk of hell, fire and brimstone... but I quite liked Paul Ifill. The fact we nicked him from Millwall enough for me

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

GK: McCarthy

D: Nathan Ferguson
D: Jaroslaw Jach
D: Jack Hunt

M: Vasilios Lakis
M: Mark Kennedy
M: Tom Soares (never saw anything in him, feel I was proved right)
M: Jordan Mutch

F: Wayne Andrews
F: Bamford
F: Calvin Andrew

I may produce another team at some point but just off top of my head. My issue with defenders is mainly around those who never even played despite my due diligence in researching their capabilities! Others I feel the longer time passes by the more fondly I remember them!

Some controversial ones in there Nicholas.

I thought Mark Kennedy was a decent player, and Tom Soares did ok for us.

The only player I've ever heard home fans sing 'off, off, off' to upon making a bad foul. Didn't make my subjective list though as I struggled with defenders to name but had a lot of forwards that could be included!

It is absolutely more about my personal feelings than accuracy Martin so very happy for others to dispute!

Mark Kennedy for me was just very much of the Peter Taylor era or players who, again just for me, represented a bunch of journeymen and a very bland/boring identity. Might have been more the coach than the individuals however.

I had a very personal dislike for Tom Soares. It's not I thought that he was awful I just didn't ever even notice he was on the pitch and couldn't articulate what sort of player he was?? I remember there being a lot interest in him and just thinking 'WHYY????'. It was more my failure to grasp his plaudits than a hatred of him though. That and him allegedly whipping his old boy out to a load of 14 year old goals at Beckenham swimming baths was enough for me. Not saying that is fact either, was just a rumour that did quite a few rounds for a while.
