A valuable point secured at Newcastle and if we can achieve the same against a resurgent United,we will have done well.

1-1.

I have no idea why I think we can win this. Probably the last two seasons. 2-1.

Not a great time to be playing them. Can we play Leicester instead, please?

Serious point: after the first six games of the season, look at where our next opposition sits in the table. In theory, all sides have a balance of oppositions; good, middling and poor. But of course it is entirely possible that every 'next' opponent is in the top half of the League. Of course, there is nothing that can be done about this, but I suspect that some sides have easier rides than others!

1-1 I'll go.

United are looking less and less shambolic but I am hoping them beating Arsenal takes their eye off the ball somewhat and they are still riddled with flaws. If we come out as we should every game we're in with a real chance.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

They're pretty decent, we will need to perform to our best and spring a surprise or two.

By the end of this game we'll already be 20% of the way through the season, and yet only played 2 teams in the bottom half (one of whom is 11th-placed Newcastle).

Hopefully the fact we're 15th will lull them into thinking we're s***ter than we actually are. After all, they have a LOT of playing and coaching staff new to the league, and it seems they have likely been under the most intense pressure they've ever experienced in their professional lives, so I doubt they've had too much time to contemplate the threat of Édouard and Ayew.

I always will Wilf to have a stormer against Man U. If he does, we have a chance.

1:1 is best case scenario.

'Almost' not 'already'. One-fifth of the season will have been completed at 54 minutes away to Brighton

Good to see someone else with a bit of optimism. I've gone 2-1 oj Predictor so I'll go the same here as well.
