Ex Chelsea striker Diego Costa is available on a free. Our strikers don't seem to be hitting the back of the net at the moment and we really are lacking goals. Who would be happy to take Costa on a free?

Yeah I suggested this a while ago. Maybe only for one season but he is a proven goal scorer. It's a yes from me

I'm not sure if it's commonly known, but he's been out of work since January. It's not like his contract expired pre-season. I think it might even have been a 'mutual termination', so he was basically fired, or resigned. His goal record in recent years isn't great, certainly no better than what Édouard could do if he gets his head into a winning mentality.

As much as I loathe him, clearly he was once an exceptional player, but I suspect those days finally wore out about 2 years ago.
