Bit of a drop in quaility , surely could have got Luke a Championship or even league one club for some first team action . Cant see the Proximus league doing much for development nor playing in front of 2,000 spectators . What I saw of him in a Derby shirt he is better than this .

It's been discussed in another thread but I agree this seems to be more for the benefit of John Textor than to Palace or the player. The Belgium top league is not that great so what sort is standard is the 2nd division.

It might vaguely benefit Textor, but I feel Luke Plange would have been way better off to go to Derby for a year, amongst people he knows, surroundings he knows, and have a real crack at promotion there.

Surely the U-21s plus regular bench appearances and possible actual appearances would have been preferable to the living Hell that awaits him.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

If Texter is funding us now as I suspect, I dare say he is calling a few shots like this.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
