Sorry, maybe I didn't make it clear, object was to get a bit of value over the season, its a long wait for a return of 9/4, assuming that we do fnish in top 10.

Like the idea of trying to beat the overall odds by betting each match. Did Liverpool to win; Palace to win; draw; and Palace to win 2-0. At £1.00 each happy with first result. Three bets - money to bookmaker. Draw at 24/5 gives £4.80 plus stake, total to collect £5.80, in profit.

A Horse betting colleague came up with this theory years ago.It started in the FA cup where a team was priced at 1/2 to win which he thought ridiculous,in his own words "if I can`t better that over a season then I`m a monkeys uncle".I can`t remember the exact team at the time,Wycombe or MK spring to mind,anyhow he had a fiver bet on the draw every game they played.Ended the season on + £97.Not a great return but was fun along the way.

If you do every game in the football leagues and national league at 2-2 you would turn a profit over a season. There are an average of about 6 every weekend game round and about 50 games. Problem is you have to do them all separately
