Seeing some interesting noises/chatter about this across the political spectrum.

Not sure how I feel about it so am interested in all views.

So they can't the public can't afford to pay but they want money from you anyway?

I'm all for bringing energy bills down but non payment will just end up as a mess and not solve the problem.

They could start by abolishing the green levy.

This whole thing imo is about the fear of oil running out so let’s find another way to make tax dollars, pounds. Oil is not a fossil fuel. It is twice as deep as the deepest fossil ever found durgh what does that tell you. It’s a mineral and we’ve probably used a tiny % of what’s there. It may run out but in say over 1000 years but I am willing to accept within a couple of hundred years technology will make it an unviable energy source. People are being played, kids are being brainwashed, even grownups ! Are believing this climate change s***. Two on here who are very comfortable thankyou keep giving ‘friends ’ who know everything or evidence which proves its all us. In two hundred years, yeh right; the earth is living and 4.5 billion years old. You’ve got XR giving it large from their 5 bed houses in Sevenoaks or some north London posh area, ironically if and it’s a very low ball if, imo we are responsible it’s them and their kin burning coal like it’s going out of fashion who caused it. If anyone with any bollox of any stature in the field were to just wake the f*** up and shout it loud without fear they have my total backing FWIW I guess. This crisis is all and I mean all down to green s*** and the sooner people wake up and realise that then maybe we can have a better, more understanding, less stressful existence.
