Anyone remember the two guys seemingly contracted to Palace, but loaned out to Belgian clubs? One, maybe both, was an American. Any information? Maybe they didn't make the grade?

The American was a Textor signing I thought I heard he has been released?

Jacob Montes, he's barely played in Belgium so won't get a work permit so has been released

Rian Jamai is now without club after loan spell
Sebastian Joffre now on Botafogo U20s off of the Palace to RWDM loan.

Including Montes, each started at Florida FC, a youth academy/incubator and Textor's initial foray into football, and had progressed upwards towards Palace and now, back down (?). Realistically, not one of these three blokes had the requisite capability to make the highest level of club football.

In my opinion, these players were, in essence, test cases and may be nothing more than Mr. Textor polishing the nuance and smoothing the bumps associated with his management of the legal and financial administravia intrinsic to a sequence of multinational footballing transfers over time that have been made slightly 'irregular' in the eyes of football league and association rules as the same party (Textor) substantively controls both ends of the transaction.

Edited to add:
Montes to Botafogo (a free I assume)
