...it is too much for us, especially when the fee is set to be in excess of 15 million

On the face of it a strange move , if true, as we are well served in wide areas and it doesn’t strike me as an area that is crying out to be strengthened.

He is quality player and a really hard working player, something that is not that common to find. I'm not sure whether we need him but he would undoubtedly improve us and provide stiff competition for Wilf. If he comes in maybe Edouard will leave, either on loan or permanently?

I thought he was left footed McNeil?? If not I apolgise but if so I think he may be looked at to prop up the right wing where Ayew maybe once did? Some competition for Olise might be good for him plus for entirely subjective reasons I just cannot see Olise being a 90 mins week in/week out player... again not sure why!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

He is very much left-footed, he has a cultured left-foot, has a hammer of a shot and good delivery with his left-foot.Found wanting on his right foot.

So the conversation in the West Ham Board Room goes something like this: “What do we need?”

He is for a young player very experienced and in most of his seasons very effective surprised there has not been more interest in him at the kind of money so far talked about.
