Reading the match report describing CG as solid - he also got booked on 35 minutes, Club Americas didnt get a shot on goal & only scored through a back pass mistake from Reece James - Seems CFC were a bit wasteful in front of goal so the score could have been higher, obviously being pre season & not knowing much about the opposition its difficult to know how much to read into it - I guess the most significant thing is CG started the match (apparently a lot of CFC players returning from internationals didnt start / play) which would at least indicate that TT is doing what he can to have as good a look as possible of the players available which is pretty much what you would expect.

But the less he plays, and the more money they spend on new CBs, increases our chances of signing him. In regards to Connor,I think he'll get enough game time at Chelsea this year to see him stay there, but not enough game time to really see him develop. Edited by samprior (17 Jul 2022 9.24am)
