I do not say this lightly, however, he is classified as prodigy by the Brazilians. There are some English language reporting links but I'm not going to dig them out right now as most of what I know comes from following Botafogo forums as well as Brazilian media... He is expected to be the next Brazilian national team striker. The basics: 18 years 3 months, born in Rio, father manages all aspects of career, has only been on Botafogos books and still occasionally plays in lower tiers but is now primarily a late on first team sub. The pursuers: Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and since Real is watching so is Atletico. I am fairly confident that the release clause is €50M, applied before the purchase by John Texter of Botafogo. Player ownership: 10% youth club, 30% player, 60% Botafogo. From all that I can gather over the last several months, is that John Textor and the player's father deal on a one-on-one basis for all things associated with his career. Being honest, I have been waiting for someone to mention this lad, he is phenomenal and would be an addition to the club bringing far more than his ability on the pitch to the club.

Good shout, let’s see how much our new sponsor really wants to share talent around his teams.

That would be exciting but some of these type of players work out, some don't. Would definitely be interesting.

What about a work permit? And if as has been stated its a 3 month loan which starts after the Brazil season ends on 18 Nov the first 6 weeks we will be on shutdown due to the world cup. So that's half the loan period!!!

Contract offered to MN by Textor,Dougie, and Mazzuco (Bota sporting director). Portuguese (should be translatable) If he agrees he appears to be ours for his first 3 months at the starting of the winter window. If not, he is Real bound.

Still needs one for 3 months

Can someone confirm or deny that on our list of retained academy graduates there's a player with this surname. His first name appears to be Adler. Any relation?
