Amid all the excitement of the final day it felt a bit of a subplot that Zaha now has one year left on his contract and that might be the last we see of him in a Palace shirt.

I can't believe we'll let him go for free next year and he would still command a decent fee after scoring 14 league goals. However, naturally the club will want him to stay and, should he decide to sign a new deal, he'll probably finish his career at the club.

So, do you think we'll see him in a Palace shirt next season?

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I’m struggling to think of anywhere he could go. Arsenal might possibly be interested and maybe Fulham but why would he want to go there? Can’t think of anyone else so I can’t see him leaving.

Zaha's call - he can stay or go. How much money does he stand to lose if he doesn't land a tasty transfer and just stays at Palace? I wouldn't begrudge him that. I think we're pretty strong as a squad now not to rely so much on Zaha. If he stays to end his career then great, we would miss him otherwise and he's worth his wages. If he goes, no big deal either and good luck to him: I can see Newcastle or Everton or Man UTD or Burnley or Leeds or one of the newly promoted teams using him. He may go overseas - all the best to him whatever he chooses!

He had always dreamed of playing for an absolutely skint team in the championship..... again.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Whether he stays or goes with very much down to him, Parish and any buyer.

That aside, I have massively changed my mind on him.

Whilst we are not as Zaha reliant as we once were, he is still vitally important to us. In a game of fine margins, he makes a difference.

Yes, Similar to me, there is no one he can go to better than us, especially in or around London, think he will sign a new contract, and with PV swapping from 4-3-3 to 3-5-2 he can easily play in both system's

Every footballer wants to play in the Champions League....

as Wilfried discovered, its not much fun an ManUre. Likewise at many Giant clubs.

Stay

'Twas my thinking.

Even if the now morally bankrupt but super-rich came in for him it may well be worth a pay day but would be of little footballing sense at either end for a player who I'd be inclined to suggest has perhaps 2 or 3 good seasons left in him and possibly past his 'prime'.

At Palace you'd think we'd have him hanging around for at least 4 more seasons in some capacity at the very least and it's hardly as if he's earning peanuts here plus he has stature, geography, love and admiration. Would be very different if we were talking about a 24/25 y/o Zaha.

14 goals is a lot to make up if he does go. Please stay Wilf you are better off at Palace.

FIVE or you could argue 5 1/2 because the goal at Leicester was the result of his twice taken failed penalty that Schmeichel stopped.

Who would be our penalty taker if Wilf did go? I hope he stays so we don't need to find out.
