New here. Looking at getting a Season Ticket for next season. Although I have an Orient season ticket, Palace has always been close to my heart. My late father served with Bert Head in WW2 and Bert provided tickets for my Dad and I to see my first ever football game, 2-1 beating Wolves in the autumn of 69.

I'm now retired and if the fixtures are kind I hope to follow both Orient & Palace next season. So,leg room. I'm 6ft 4 and have had problems in the main stand so what area has the most leg room

Thanks

Agree with this. Or if he is happy to stand, go for A-E in the Lower but not in front of me please!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I'm a mere 6ft 1 mate but I have sat in both U/L Holmesdales, Arthur and Glaziers Lounge.

I've never had massive trouble with legroom but hardly an indulgence in comfort. I'd recommend calling the club in any instance and also, I wouldn't pin too many hopes on getting a season ticket immediately.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I'm also 6ft 4ins and have a seat in row 16 of the Main stand (Glaziers). It has plenty of leg room because there used to be a barrier in front. I don't even have to stand up to let others get past.

The leg room in the other rows of the Main Stand is a joke, though, as you seem to have discovered.

A mate of mine has a season ticket in the gallery at the front of the upper tier of the holmesdale and I’ve found it pretty good when I’ve been up there with him, I’m 6 foot btw

The main stand is an uncomfortable sit .It was built when the average hieght of men was 5ft
That said the bars are better than anywhere else in the ground and your not splashing about in piss like the chaps opposite

Ive had season tickets in all the stands at some point and The Whitehorse probably has the best legroom though it would be good to actually see some stats

100% agree. I am 6 ft 5 and have season tickets in the upper Holmesdale. It has by far the greatest legroom given the steep rise.

Thanks for all your input. Looks like I'll try for the Upper Homesdale if I can. I'm on the waiting list, how does that work? Will they club ask me to apply?
