By now the Gooners must realise they made a big mistake taking Pepe rather than Zaha. If they come sniffing around and offering say 50 million and Chelski decide to put Gallagher on the market for say 50 million what would you do?

Keep dreaming Wilf is not even worth 20m.

Pepe is young I would take him over Wilf.

Gallagher and Wilf are not the same type of player.

Lets say your fantasy plays out as you described 50m for Wilf (did you forget United get 25-30%) I would not pay 50m for Gallagher we could use 50m to purchase a few players which would be more beneficial for the squad.

Yes, Gallagher for Wilf every day of the week.

Better all round player, much younger, a better professional, a nicer more humble human being.

Gallagher has been bang average for half a season. Not a chance

No he hasn't...just hasn't quite met the insane standards he set for himself in the first half. At that point he was super human.
In the second half, he's just been 'good'. Hardly bang average.

Better player than Wilf in almost every department except for maybe skill/footwork.

I hope neither are at the club next season, Gallagher because he will never be our player, and Wilf, if he lets his contract run out he wont put 100% in, and if he signs a new contract he will think his retirement has started already, get what we can and replace, Plange can play LW, whether he is good enough i don't know.

Or is it that his strengths (boundless energy) don’t seem to fit so well when you feed in the silky qualities of Eze. The better Eze has got, the less we have seen of Gallagher.
Eze is our player and we should be building around our players.
With Gallagher gone, we should continue our rebuild of l this season.
Milo is going. Lose Benteke d finitely. His time is up at PL level. He has to go for his sake and ours.

Unfortunately Wilf has become a target and reacts. If we can get a sensible fee I think we should cas in and let him go. Along with Milo, CB to ease the wage bill. Last night showed how fragile we still are in midfield. Defensive midfielder is a priority. CG I would love to see him here but his form has dropped off recently and a choice needs to be made whether to Perdue or not. We will probably beat Utd Sunday with Wilf and CG scoring.

Not in a million years. Wilf is still our most dangerous player.

Gallagher is a little overrated I feel, but It would be nice to see him back next season.

He is also our highest paid on £130,000.00 a week, taking that into account it's Gallagher for me on £60,000.00 a week saving £3.64 million annually plus less bonus, insurance etc.

CGs performance dropped off at the end of last season too. He’s also second in the most yellow cards table.

No.

Zaha is consistently being written off by some on here.

If he stays, he'll prove you wrong again.

Gallagher could get another season on loan with us. His recent performances suggest he will get no further than the bench at Chelsea.
