Everton will no doubt be fired up for it - they have to be - depends whether they can find a strong enough team given their suspensions. We’ve looked good against them twice this season but it will be a very physical game this time. 1-1.

Everton will bottle it, at least one red card, 3-1 Palace COYP

I agree; I think Palace will win this. Everton have a lot of defensive problems and I cant see them handling Wil, Connor and Ebs for the full 90. I think 2-1 Palace.

Should have beaten Villa. Perhaps this time we will finish better. Unfortunately, I am also going 1-1 with them to score first.

Everton have to come out all guns blazing and get a result. We have to be measured and patient and get them on the counter attack.

I'm going to wince whilst saying 0-2 Palace. They can be as fired up as they want but have a few key players out and have looked awful all season. Plus they have Lampard in charge. I don't often feel optimistic about Palace, just less pessimistic than usual but, for once, I reckon 'we got this'.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

In fairness to Everton, they looked the better team for the first 15 minutes against Brentford before the red card. After that they struggled. There is no pressure on us and if we play like we have of late we should be able to control the game as Everton can't string three passes together and they must be emotionally and physically drained after their recent performances. I have a feeling we'll win this 1-3.

Everton won't want to be going to the Emirates on Sunday needing a result to guarantee survival so they will want to get the job done tomorrow. They know a win against us will do it. Their problem is that they have had FIVE red cards since Lampard took over (even more than Xhaka and Arsenal!). We can't afford to be sloppy as we were in the first 10 minutes at Villa last Sunday because if Everton score early they will want to shut up shop and try to hold what they have and go for a second goal on the occasional counter. If we have parity at halt-time, then I fancy us taking all 3 points. Indeed, I dream of us hitting them on the break in the dying minutes as they desperately seek the winning goal that would keep them safe and so for the second home game running they will lose from a winning position. If we do beat them then I can see Everton being the team that goes down as I can see both Burnley and Leeds winning their games on Sunday against teams that have little to play for. Dirty Leeds are also ridden with suspensions & injuries. i reckon they will actually get relegated, but i hope and pray that Everton take the last trap-door.

We always like to help teams out and normally I’d be saying it’s got 1-0 to them written all over it, BUT this Everton team really are a disjointed shower, especially at the back, so I’m going for 1-3 to us

I don't believe that PV will let the team/squad turn up in flip flops and that Everton will be no better prepared than our tem. I think that we will win 1-2 with hopefully the winner in the last minute to let FL know that he is now with a club that doesn't get the benefit of the doubt any more.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |
