Those parasites on the Civil list are now enjoying a holiday

However, it began badly and seems to be getting a tad worse.

"A planned visit by the Earl and Countess of Wessex to Grenada has been postponed at the 11th hour, just one day before the couple embark on their six-day platinum jubilee tour of the Caribbean and weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s controversial visit to the region.

No explanation for the late postponement was given by Buckingham Palace, which followed a consultation with the government of Grenada and on the advice of the governor general.

It is highly unusual for a royal visit, traditionally long in the planning, to be cancelled at such short notice.

Edward and Sophie will begin their tour on Friday, and were scheduled to visit Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, St Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines from 22-28 April." (The Guardian, April 21 2022)

It comes after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge faced some criticism and protests on their recent tour of Belize, the Bahamas and Jamaica, with some calling for the three countries to become republics

So the next stop was Saint Lucia.
"Prince Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, have been criticised for gifting the Saint Lucia prime minister with a signed photograph of themselves as a gift during their royal tour.

The couple also presented the leader, Phillip J. Pierre, with a jubilee box as a “token of appreciation” when they met him at his residence on Friday evening after receiving a red carpet guard of honour on their arrival in the country.

In return, Saint Lucia’s PM gave the pair a painting of one of the island’s turtles rolled up in a long black tube, and before discovering what the gift inside the tube was, Edward joked: “It’s not a fishing rod.” (yahoo.com)

If ever there was a prime example of how to be really thick and offensive,....

That really is so un-shockingly yet still mindbogglingly hilarious.

Upon their return, it would be lovely to see a cock-up in paperwork and their sending to Rwanda.

I never really do or have attacked the monarchy but it is quite surreal these days to see this sort of thing still occurring. I've always had a great fondness for Auntie Betty and I don't mind Wills but the detachment from reality for most of them is staggering and a little insulting I must admit.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
