No comments on the fight?

Dillian Whyte proved to be as bang average as we thought.
His only game plan was one big swing.

Fury still a class act in the ring. I hope he fights Joshua and Usyk before he finally quits.

I think that’s bang on. Whyte is a game fighter who’d be a nightmare in the street but world champion?
Realistically he had no more than a punchers.chance but Fury is too big and is a better boxer than he’s given credit for.

My comment is that I can't believe 94,000 mugs pay ridiculous amounts of money to watch this tripe. Cost of living crisis; my arse!!

Panned out as expected. Whyte was game.
Can't see Joshua or Usyk happening, which is what prompted retirement.
Joshua is a tease and would never have the bottle to take on Fury. Joshua is only interested in "step-aside" money.

I disengage, I turn the page.

And the only reason boxing (and MMA) haven't been outlawed is the money. Like cigarettes and alcohol, there's still a big market.

People pay good money to watch fat people throw darts.

We are obviously a country lacking in satisfying leisure activities.

I doubt very much that they pay £316 per person as per the original poster (and that was probably far from the top price). And at least the darts is a contest rather than a no-contest.

Unfortunately, pro boxing is largely about the money and less about the sport. It wouldn't exist otherwise.
The same accusation could be levelled at horse racing.

Even football is heading that way.

I suppose people just love to see two people punch each other, even if the result is fairly predictable.

94 thousand people turned up to watch Whyte's weak chin get clipped. I can only see a Chisora 3 fight for him....as I don't think anything else is interesting that involves Whyte after that display.

Poor undercard....A lot of money flying around in boxing at the moment but that often results in boxers pricing themselves out to protect their records until a title opportunity arrives.

But that results in far less 50/50 fights for us.....perhaps the coming economic contradiction results in more serious match ups.

We all want to see Fury v Joshua and or Usyk.

At least we can say that Fury would have been a challenge for any heavyweight of any era.
