I'm going for 2-1 Palace, Zaha and Mateta, you heard it here first I suspect it will be a match within which we are vulnerable to a comfortable beating, or damn good thrashing, however conversely are not ridiculously far from pushing Chelsea close if not for a draw or in actual fact beating them. We're a very different team now to what we have been used to this past decade. Winning would not require a miracle at Wembley, or a history making upset, just a solid performance with one or more of our attacking players 'doing it on the night'. Once more, I am still a lot younger then most posters, and remember the excitements of being in realistic contention for a Division One Play off place, let alone genuine contenders for winning a cup, so bit of perspective there too. COYP!!!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Can we win - Yes. Will we win - that depends on whether we show up or not. If we do and they have an 'off' day (like they have had recently then I think we'll win 3 - 1. If they play as they can then we'll lose 4 - 2. So its a Palace win 3 - 1 COYP!!

If we give them a game and is left out for the final simply due to the fact that they are a better team, so be it. Will enjoy the occasion no matter what...

The game/result last night was the best thing we could have hoped for: - tired from travelling They’re there for the taking. 2-1 Palace.

I dont know , they seem to have their spirit back after it left them with Abramovic's wallet . That counts for more than being tired and deflated after their CL exit .

After last night, the game on Sunday looks much harder. Don't be fooled by so-called drained players. They have a large, talented squad and for all our improvements we are Crystal Palace, not Real Madrid. They will want this cup.

Chelsea players looked completely broken at full-time last night, so it could well come down to how well they recover emotionally, as well as physically. Although it's an FA Cup semi-final will they be able to lift themselves to the same level to play us? As is always the case against the big teams, we need some luck, for everyone to play out of their skins and for the opposition to be slightly off their game. The big teams don't really care about the FA Cup, so I think it's time we finally won the damn thing. 3-1 Palace after Chelsea taking an early lead.

I believe it would be viewed as an upset if we managed to beat Chelsea. Edited by Willo (13 Apr 2022 10.11am)

To me it depends on the ref and whether he/she remembers that a foul in the centre circle is still a foul. IF the ref is decent and plays it well then we have a decent chance of winning but, I would want a strong side with at least 10 out of the usual 11.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

It's something of a 1990 semi final scenario. Few expected us to beat Liverpool , few expect us to beat Chelsea. If they are way off their best, we play to our full potential and get a slice of luck along the way, we can do it. However, my head says 2-0 to Chelsea
