Cheap as chips

I suppose we'll never know if it's just a made-up propaganda story but really, on the volume of "evidence" the Russian military seems to be in a right state. I suppose when you lead by intimidation and surround yourself with lackeys who simply tell you what you want to hear, you make decisions (like going to war) based on the wrong information; Putin clearly believed he was putting Ronaldo and Messi out there; he's ended up with his forces being led by Benteke and Trevor Aylott. It's not going well, is it?

Senior Russians are pretty soon going to face a stark choice. Either they're going to have to man up and get rid of Putin, or he's going to get rid of them. Either way, I can't see the status quo in the Kremlin persisting for much longer. And there's no reason for the west to become involved in regime change when likely, the Russians will do it for them with no foreign intervention needed. So far as I can see Putin is being hoist by his own petard.
