Crystal Palace starlet Tyrick Mitchell is in line for first England call-up with Gareth Southgate set to assess his options after Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James are doubts for international duty amid injuries

Exactly. I don't get Southgate he picked a squad with one fit left back all the rest are injured and it's only a friendly. Why would you not pick the inform left back in the country and at least have a look at him in training?

Kenny eventually had a few games and then broke into the Full England side. I am not obviously suggesting that the FA are against picking Palace players as internationals (eg Wilf)
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

If Trent Arnold and James are injured, then yes I think he should pull on the England jersey. He is better defensively than Luke Shaw who is very over rated. As it stands he is well behind the Liverpool and Chelsea players, but strange things can happen and the way he handled Mahrez and Walker on Monday night has put him right there as another England option….

Ah this is huge! 'Mitchell, Walker-Peters receive first England call-ups ' Brentford must be kicking themselves for letting him go.
