Im going for a very hard fought, scrappy & nervy 2-1 win. Mainly because of their result against Newcastle & although neither side was great, their tales will be up, plus the fact Allan will be missing after getting sent off. Here are the match officials . . . [Link] Note who is doing the Forest/LiVARpool match.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

The dream team doing Forest😒 Haha, just what i thought, unlucky Forest. Also, our ref, Stuart Atwell was the VAR who got Allan sent off last night. Will he try to balance it up to appease the Evertonians? We'll find out soon enough.

It’s not a good thing to be over confident with Palace, as we all are up against a poor Everton team. So normally I’d be thinking it’s got 0-1 written all over it, but I think we will just have too much going forward for them to handle, so I’ll go 2-0 to us with our England internationals celebrating their call ups with a goal each Edited by monkey (18 Mar 2022 10.42am)

But they’ve had away wins in the cup against championship sides. As long as we don’t get nervy we should win this but will be a tight game.

Would have been better for us if Everton had lost to Newcastle. Now an open affair. We play as we did vs Stoke we're out of the cup.

This should all point to a Palace win. We're pretty "ok" at home, as a team we're scoring goals and touch wood have shored ourselves up at the back with MG and JA especially looking much improved, playing between season stand out TM and the handy NC. Whilst I'd rather not see Calvert Lewin back, I just can't see them scoring more goals than us. Beyond that ignoring the fact CG doesn't stop running, I think when push comes to shove Everton have to have one eye on the league and think psychologically this game is more important to us, and we'll be willing to do more to win it. 3-1 Palace

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Fresh from the success of my last prediction of 0-0 against Man City (in case I haven't mentioned it since) I'm going for Palace 3 Everton 0.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

Everton are appealing the red card for Allan that S. Atwell as VAR urged the ref to 'reconsider' Mr Atwell is the ref for our game with them . . . [Link]
