It was actually put into law many years ago now that feelings of joy, happiness, enthusiasm etc must be surrendered upon entering the black country area, might help explain your experience.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

You may be forgetting that Wolverhampton won a competition in the Sun a few years back in which readers had to vote for the "Best place in England" in a variety of categories. Wolverhampton won "best place to die". Apparently the transition from life to death there is barely noticeable!
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

As far as I could tell from watching the match on Sky this morning, our supporters were making most of the noise yesterday.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

In the interview with PV after the game they made a special point to say how loud the fans were and that they didn't stop from the first minute. I couldn't watch the game yesterday so can't really contribute outside of the above.
