Just seen Charlie, a real shame that I've come to like him very much over time. RIP
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Shane Warne' by becky Yikes On his first trip to England Reporter at airport "Shane what will you be doing" Warne "I've come here to drink your beer shag your women and beat you at cricket" He did all three in large amounts. A sad day for cricket fans with 2 greats shouldering arms. RIP

I'm shocked. No age at all.

Beat me to it. Wasn't racing to do it. I was in the middle of a post about Everton facing some real fixture congestion, and playing Newcastle just a couple of days before the q-final and it popped up on my phone.

Was stunned to hear of this, poor bloke. He was barely in his 50s. Horrible for friends and family. It shows you have to enjoy every day like it's your last, because often such tragic events don't come with any warning . Edited by BlueJay (05 Mar 2022 2.02am)

Not many players can be said to have changed their sport but he was one. A truly magical bowler.

Possibly the best bowler ever who could make even world class batsmen look foolish and one who I was fortunate to watch several times. RIP Warney
