I couldn't buy a printed programme again yesterday. I arrived at 2.40 and the outdoor seller on the Holmesdale Road/Park Road had sold out. I was not too worried as you can usually buy one at the club shop inside the Upper Holmesdale but he had sold out too.
The right place at the right time |

I had the same problem, where have the program sellers gone that used to be by the garage in Whitehorse Road ?I went around the Helmsdale end at 2.30pm and they were all sold out.By the time I got in the Arthur after queuing for 25 mins (another complaint) I didn’t have time to look for a seller as only just made my seat as the players were coming out. This club is a joke, all this after a 90 min drive for my fourth visit of the season and still not seen a home victory made me feel, why did I bother!!

Apparently they printed less. It’s actually surprised me how little they do print compared to the old days. I should imagine they’ll be a thing of the past in the coming years. Shame for us old school types, but that’s modern life, everything’s going online. Edited by monkey (28 Feb 2022 9.26am)

I too have hundreds of programmes from yesteryear some of which had the 'Football League review' inserted. Some non-league clubs, far down the football pyramid no longer print programmes and have them online to download.

I have as well, each one is a memory of each game I’ve been too over the years. But when you say ‘most’ that’s not correct this day and age. I believe they print less than 5,000 a game

I know a chap who purchases TWO programmes when attending games. I have visited the Bernabeu.I was unable to locate any programme sellers either outside or inside the stadium much to my chagrin.I was then informed that the programmes were stacked up in racks inside the concourse and spectators could just help themselves.

I’ve known people over the years who buy two as well, one to read and sling around as you please and one to keep in mint condition. For me, a programme is not authentic if it’s not creased up with a bit of ketchup on it
