Given the beautiful football Palace have played at times its hard to believe we are only a loss or two off the relegation zone. The Norwich match is huge. And ominous signs from some of the teams below us....

A good month and we are almost safe and a bad month and we are in a relegation battle

5 points off relegation or 2 points off top ten. Decides which way you look at it...

My advice to anyone who thinks there’s any possibility of us getting relegated this season is to lump on before tonight’s game. I believe odds of 28/1 are available which seems incredibly generous to me. At least it would make the pain easier to bear.

The games this month will likely define our season.

Not without Gallagher we won't ... Hopefully Macca back and played a game or two by then. Also Gallagher not looking as good as he was early doors? Hughes and Kouyate should also strengthen the midfield which has looked weaker with Schlupp playing in the middle. We need to be stronger in midfield and defending dead ball situations. If we don’t sort that out I think we could be in a relegation fight. Could go either way in my opinion as we could be a top 6 to 10 side also?

Not looking down while there are poor sides below us that we still have to play though in a sadistic sort of way I miss the gut doing summersaults on matchday wondering if today is the day we get the three points needed or the ticket to the Championship But I think we will leave them to it .

Earlier in the season I really thought that by this stage of the season, we would, for once, not be looking over our shoulders, but, it's business as usual. We desperately need a couple of wins to open up the gap again.

Definitely in the relegation conversation now. 3 from ourselves, Brentford, Leeds, Everton, Newcastle, Watford, Burnley and Norwich. Newcastle signings should see them safe and Everton have enough quality to get the points. We can keep talking up Vieira and bemoan bad luck/ bad referees but the reality is we are in a scrap. Brentford, Watford and Burnley are 3 of the next 4. 6 point return is minimum.
