According to reports Ralf Rangnick has told the United hierarchy that Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Wan Bissaka are not good enough to play for United and need replacing. It may be a good opportunity to get AWB back on loan.

After a decent start his shortcomings have been exposed and as we are not exactly well covered at full back could be a sensible short term move while we await the emergence of Nathan Ferguson.

That's no problem, Lanzo-Ad has offered to drive Tekkers up to Burnley, so while he's up there, he can pick AWB up & bring him down to SP. Job Done. Simples.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

The Premier League is so awash with high quality RBs that we probably aren't too far off the top of the list.

Tottenham are the only one of the top ~8 with even a slight question mark at right back. Everyone else it's close to their best player.

I think we picked up Fryers in a Bentley, so we could probably stretch to an Uber for AWB.

Honestly, I’m not 100% sure I’d have him over Ward at the moment.
Careful what you wish for I reckon. Yes he gets exposed for pace, but he’s remarkably consistent for us.

Everyone else would though. AWB was class for us, Ward has been class too but, unfortunately, is not the future for us. Ward can be described as a true club great, but AWB is an upgrade - as we all witnessed with our own eyes.

Would love him back, still one of the best defensively in the league, just terrible going forward you need both to play for a top club, would be a great signing for us.

Got amazing price for him... certainly not worth that now... has gone backwards... there are other players I’d rather have....

We don't play Roy ball any more, so we require attacking full backs.

I'd take him back for a cheeky low ball offer because Ward's days must be numbered, but the management might feel that we need something different.
