I see Jay - Rich Baggypants has just signed for Accrington Stanley on a permanent deal - surprises me I thought he was one of our up & coming youngsters.

A big loss for us.

Why we don't know but he should have been at least on the bench for Kelly.

We are now seriously lacking in central defenders no O'Brien either.

We will only know if he is a big loss in a few years time. If he ends up playing in the PL then the club made a mistake anything else and we did the right thing in letting him go.

As far I cannot remember hardly any players we let go went onto bigger and better things apart from Stan Collymore. Ian Wright and Kenny Samson forced their moves out of the club.

Any suggestions? Remember this is about the club not caring if a player left not a player forcing a move to a bigger club.

Probably too big and slow for the kind of 'play out from the back' style that the management want.

I think Stanley have got themselves a good player there and I think he'll do well at that level.

Lewis Grabban....and there was that welsh left full back we let go that did alright.

But only Grabban stands out as probably a mistake.....the assessment level seems to have been generally good and accurate.

As the pundits like to say - no disrespect to Accrington Stanley but the fact he’s gone there rather than hold out for a higher placed club could well mean he’s not going to make it. Hope I’m wrong and that we have a buy-back clause just in case.

I rated him as nearly our best prospect. Big, but versatile, strong and quite skillful. Anyway, best of luck to him, presumably his contract was up. Am I right in thinking he was Australian?
I think he will make a higher level, but what would I know?
