Came across this story. Nice bit of exposure for the lad. He's going to get more starts.

Yep, certainly hope so AS. Him and Eze at the Amex on Friday. A goal apiece would be good.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

It was an interesting reaction - he’s certainly not one to be intimidated. I’ve been very impressed with him all round. He makes good choices when to run with the ball and when to lay it off which keeps us moving forward. If we can get him, Eze and Eddy all running at defences they’ll create a lot of problems; provided we have a striker who can capitalise on the chances they create. Eze showed last year that he’s a good option from free kicks too and we should get a few with those three running at defences.

Indeed. I thought his reaction was classy. Most players would have gone down and rolled around on the floor even if not hurt.

Spotted this interview with Keith Hackett who believes Olise was WRONG to respond like he did . . .

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

I'd have thought it was a very easy decision. Play 'em both on Friday. PLEASE!

As far as Olise's reaction to being targeted is concerned I'm afraid I'm with the view that says it was a risky thing to do. OK, he got away with it and there were no more things lobbed at him (as far as I am aware), but it could have backfired. Some of those numbskulls could easily have gone to the next level and caused him a serious injury. Not so classy then eh?

One of them was Dean Ashton, who in his most sensationalist voice, suggested that Hughes maybe should have had a red for his earlier sliding tackle.

We really are not popular amongst the majority of commentators. The comments are so one eyed and biased that I’ve taken to turning the sound off and just watching it. The comment about the tackle was laughable. Hughes took the ball cleanly half a second before the late challenge came in which was foolish by whoever it was (I can’t remember) as he could have got hurt or worse taken Hughes out.

And the elbow on Gallagher was not malicious in the slightest
