I assume we can agree that we are now in no fear of relegation this season and in the new PV era we can at least give the cup a real go this season and play our strongest XI.

Ha ha I wouldnt say that 2 or 3 losses on the spin and we could be down near the bottom OR 2 or 3 wins and we could be pushing for europe. But I am personally confident that there are at least 3 teams worst than us and YES would love to see an FA cup run. Wether Mr Vieira has the same confidence in his first premiership management season is another matter.

Wouldn't say so, could be down as far as 17th if all teams win their games in hand, we struggle to win games, for from safe.

You would think so, but you know this has got 1-0 to Millwall written all over, especially as they’ve got a decent bit of recent history of beating average premier league teams in the cup

I say the same every season. It's totally ludicrous to consider Palace as relegation candidates this season, yet there will always be a few who seem to think we could lose every game between now and May. Realistically 35 points keeps you up, meaning we need 12 from 18 games. Time for glory and that will only come via League of FA Cup. Happy to rest a couple of key players if they are genuinely tired, but otherwise agree we should go for a strong team. Would thoroughly enjoy a 4-0 rout of M***wall.
