I think we need to keep showing this lad so much support that he ends up feeling loved and wants to stay. He will be wasted at Chelsea. He won't get played and his career will be destroyed like so many other players. He will end up a star for us and continue getting in the England squad. How about singing to the tune of "he scores when he wants"...

I really don’t get why our fans are being so weird about this. He’s not our player. There’s an outside chance of getting him for another loan spell but why worry about that now? We’ve got him for the rest of the season, which is not even half way through. Just enjoy these performances.

He's going back to Chelsea at the end of the season. He's Chelsea through and through and he'll get game time for them - he's good enough because he does it every week against the teams in the same league as Chelsea. If you were a 21 year old Palace fan, Palace are winning trophy after trophy, Palace send you on loan to Brentford and you play really well for them but were good enough to get in the Palace team, would you sign for Brentford? Absolutely not. It's rare you get to watch a talent like that play every week for Palace, so just enjoy it while it lasts!
