Saw this as well & they lost 2-0 against 4th tier side, how gutting must that be. Bit like the FA saying a team from Bermuda or the Falklands can play in the FA Cup, if they win their respective league's & then get drawn against Dulwich Hamlet(no offence to them btw)

Imagine getting there, only for it to be called off! I remember the league cup game at Selhurst back in the day, maybe a quarter final, and it was pizzin down, got told it was off at the ground. Me and my mate met a mob of scousers coming up from norwood junction in the rain, about 30 odd, half jogging as it was nearly kick off time, told them it was off. They wern"t sure if it was a wind up, so told them to go an see, the gates were just open at the park road top end, you could see the pitch was like a swimming pool, long way home on a wet Tuesday night, poor fcukers!

Blimey, i remember that game. I'd travelled down from N'ton & was in the old 'Victory' pub, there were a few scousers in, they left early & as we were about to leave, they had returned & told us.

France has a law that overseas territories are considered as states (departments) of France itself. If Britain had the same laws I guess it would happen.

One I remember is we won the first leg but lost the second leg. Can't remember which was home and away. I'm thinking of a Clinton one, can't remember if there was an earlier one.

I went to an Atherstone FA Cup first round game once. Turned up the night before, got a few pints in, got up for the football special. There was three feet of snow and no electricity.

I believe we lost to Arsenal and Liverpool twice. One of the Arsenal defeats was the season we got relegated having finished 4th from bottom and also let in FA Cup semi-final, so we finished in the final 4 of all competitions. Of course my memory may be a bit off
