Never thought this would happen, but, it has . . .

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Rangers gave him his big break and he sh*ts on them...No loyalty in football.

Touch my coffee and I will slap you so hard even Google won't be able to find you.

Wonder whose decision it was? There was talk of £3m compo which Rangers couldn’t really refuse. Or maybe the chance to get his hands on the Grealish money was appealing.

Looks like a good opportunity for both parties.

Wow. That's a bold move. And happened fast.

Hope it works better for him than it did Lampard.

Also hope we finish above them.

Football is no different to any other job as no matter what you do if a better offer comes along people tend to take it. I certainly did

Don't agree much with you but on this I do.
Highest bidder gets my service the same as we generally employ the lowest bidder to some degree. Horses for courses

Such is football. Money talks and Stevie G goes from a club where European football is guaranteed to one where if he doesn't win a few matches he will be sacked. Villa are a rich club and will demand success. Gerrard may not give that. He has little proven track record and has not handled the kind of transfers we see in the PL.

We have seen Howe to Newcastle we see Gerrard to Villa. I also see it is possible Lampard will end up at Norwich. Only the last of these may work as at least Lampard did a decent job at Championship level.

One good thing is that we will find out just how good Gerrard and Howe are. If they fail they have no excuse so I think it's football punditry for them.

I think Lampard is the wrong fit at Norwich however if he does well then that can only enhance his reputation as being able to work on a small budget which he can also blame if he fails.

Lampard an interesting one. I could never work out if he turned us down, we turned him down or we didn’t approach him?
