Forest Hillbilly in a hidey-hole 06 Nov 21 1.47pm | |

I had an incident at work with an engineer early on Thursday that nearly ended badly. Fortunately, within 15 minutes, the machine I was working on broke, and the engineer still hadn't fixed it by the end of my shift 7 hours later. Who looks a c-unit now ? So, this morning someone rings my doorbell, but no-one is there. I think nothing of it. Head down, he jumped on his bike and sped off. Seconds later there is a bit of a noise. The kid has hit the kerb and come off his bike, sprawled on the pavement, right on front of his two mates. He hobbles off, pushing his bike. So, totally different circumstances, but natural justice was waaaay to disproportionate in the case of the doorbell. Anyone else have cases where nature intervened ? (no doubt my house will be fire-bombed by the end of the month ) Edited by Forest Hillbilly (06 Nov 2021 1.50pm)

I had a row with a bloke on a building site and got fired, I wasn"t to bothered as was going to Spain the next day. On the beach in Spain , I was still smarting at the geezer I had a row with, but said to myself, he"s on a building site, and i"m on the beach in 30 degrees, who"s laughing now?. Opened my bag and took out my paper, front of the sun, he was on it, taking a cheque for £2.5 million, from the England captain, he had won the pools, and his mrs had picked the numbers, that was the story! Karma had come to visit me, for negative thoughts.

Natural justice
unfortunately they often take out the innocent too. ................................... Natural justice is Atletico Madrid getting a ton of red cards for foul play.

Middle of lockdown on a hump back bridge with narrow path this idiot leaps out at me refuses to let me walk pass demanding I give him 2 meters which meant walking into the road (so I had to get out of his way for his safety). I tried to reason with the guy (you give I give) but he kept waving his arms in my face like he was trying to stop a runaway horse. I bottled it and walked into the road around him annoyed with myself for being bullied. I had walked a few more yards when I heard yelling, he was pulling the same stunt on a startled jogger who thought he was being mugged so punched the guy in the face. I watched the struggle from a safe distance (handbags after the punch) laughing my socks off that for once someone had got their just desserts.

Ah... but the way karma works is that that win has probably ruined his life - real friends won't want to be thought as hangers-on, so will avoid him, hangers-on on will plague him and make his life a misery, and his wife will probably divorce him, safe in the knowledge that she'll be set up for life on her own. karma is a real b*tch sometimes.....

You aren"t far off, he fell out with his best mate, (school pals, holidays together with wifes, golf, godparents to others kids, best man etc etc, cos they worked together- his mate was the forman, hence me getting sacked.) After all that love, he got his bestie and mrs round to tell him they got something for him, they went round dreaming of no more mortgage etc(this was when mortgages were about 50k). Anyway, they got round there, and there was a new set of golf clubs wrapped up in the corner-so they could go golf together, although the forman had to go to work on the building site! Apparently, they were a good set of clubs, but there the fall out began!
