This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

It must be terrible to only be 8th in the league after 10 games. Or at any time for that matter!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

There was a reason why Wolves sacked him.

Spurs are probably seeing why now.

The media are talking about Conte coming in, but given Chelsea fans disliked him for being too negative (despite winning the league) will he really be loved by Spurs' fans? To me Potter seems the perfect fit. From a Palace perspective it would also be hilarious to see the rug pulled out from under Brighton when they're having such a great season.

Be careful, they might have their eyes on PV!

I don't wish Nuno any harm, but so glad we avoided that particular bullet.

Can't see he has any options left in the UK.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Don't feel any sympathy for Nono. He screwed us around and dumped us for glory at Spurs. He would have been given a big welcome here, and I remember thinking he'd have been a good capture for us.

Wouldn't have him clean PV's boots now.

Don't get why they want Conte he is another Jose type and the fans are fed up with that, that will be 3 of those types on the bounce.

I cannot see PV going to Spurs they would not sing George Graham's name "The main in the raincoat's blue and white army".

I think we are okay this season. Potter is probably a better fit for Spurs and could be pried away.

Still nice to see Spurs struggle. Big club! haven't won the league in 60 years and a cup in 13.

Spurs are still paying Mourinho 11m a year at Roma, and that will be at least another 8m a year to Nino, great selections from the Chairman

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Levy has now sacked 9 managers; 6 of them before Christmas. His selection process might be a bit suspect.

Thought he might be in line to take over from Jeff Stelling but then he's not a great ambassador for Gillette is he?

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Nuno will be relieved.

For me Spurs entitlement mentality always grates.

Take away the prima donnas Kane and Son, a fading double-act, and what is so wonderful about them.
