The Crysis series were fabulous in content and in their appearance. Great fun to play. Couldn't really get on with Assassin's Creed, but Battlefield games are very well produced with good graphics and immersive storylines. Mostly I'm a fan of racing games. Grid and Dirt particularly good to play. Favourites were Forza Horizon 3 and 4 which I've pretty much exhausted. Waiting for 5 to be released next month. In the meantime I'm hooked on Planet Coaster. Theme parks have never been such fun. But, aren't these games expensive now? I try to use CD Keys or Kinguin for discount deals. What are you playing and what are your favourites? Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I got a Quest 2 about a month ago, which is a VR headset and I've been getting into the fitness rhythm games Audio trip and Beat Saber. And Eleven table tennis and Walkabout golf are amazing fun. On PC, football manager is great and for those that like strategy titles I can recommend Battle Brothers.

Played all of them, some of the Call of Duty multilayer on line are brilliant. With a headset for all the abuse even better.

I loved Doom but play it now, doesn't stand up to the new first person shooters. Could never do 'tricks and traps' - remember that level? I still have Doom on the playstation and a retrocade.

Flashback was so ahead of its time. So was Sonic the Hedgehog in a way. Fight Night 3 is still a blast, one of the best boxing games out there. I'm no gaming expert though because I still like playing Pacman .

I really like the first couple of Call of Duty games but kind of fell out of gaming and now it all seems so advanced I feel a bit detached from it all, like it would be good to kind of gradually make my way to the more recent ones. f***ing hell, I sound like an old fart lowering himself into a bath i've just run lol.

Doom 2 is also great plus Wolfstein(WW2 Nazi version of doom, sort of)

Plus the missus is not going to let you play hours a day.

I mostly play cod Warzone. Don't take it too seriously but can mess around with mates while sort of trying to win, but mainly not doing really well. I tried to get into Cyberpunk over last Christmas, but decided I'm just not into RPGs. Shame as I can see they're awesomely designed world, but just don't do it for me. I play Unravel 2 with my eldest son age 6, which is a great side-scrolling co-op game to introduce a child to gaming. What's also really nice is that both child and adult logic can help you progress so it's a really nice shared experience. Am definitely going to have a look at Battlefield 2042. Missed the beta the other day. Edited by Frickin Saweet (18 Oct 2021 3.28pm)
