What is a local non-League club?

The Palace programme benefits from becoming A5 instead of B5 in my view and is a well written edition - but I must take issue with the clubs selected as "local non-league clubs". The Brighton programme infers that Holmesdale, Bromley, Corinthian-Casuals and Beckenham Town are the closest non-League outfits to Selhurst Park.

What about Croydon FC - roughly a mile away? And the Rams a couple of miles in the opposite direction? Both playing inside the London Borough of Croydon - not Bromley or Kingston. It appears that the programme editor is treating the real local teams with complete disdain.
