So Boris bungle is away in a luxuary villa for a week in the Marbella, whats so wrong about our own beaches in lovely Cornwall or Devon, or the lake district? I know some may criticise him for having a holiday, but it"s not a Rabb moment is it?, when there"s a crisis? Sure, there"s a fuel shortage at the pump, food shortage in the supermarket, record gas price hike, shortage of carers and nurses, no bus service in some country towns, 14000 pigs getting culled to be binned this week due to no butchers, pubs and restaurants closing certain days because of no staff, but hey- thats nothing to worry about, lets get a week in the EU before winter! Seems fair to me-and i imagine all the blue noses on here!

Tbh I doubt you worry too much either reading about where you are in life financially so are you not working class! Millions don't have to worry about bills and millions do. Life isn't designed to be easy. If people understood that we would have a fairer society where the needy are the needy and are helped of which I know there are many and I agree with; but the wants can then feck off and help themselves.

He's gone there because the weather's better, just like millions of us do every year (2020 aside of course).Marbella is not for me but its his choice. I just don't see an issue or a problem, nor would I whoever was PM.

So incompetent is the moron, I thought he'd been on holiday since the fuel crisis began. Kept his head well and truly under the radar.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Have they converted them? Conned them, certainly, but it's much more likely they have borrowed them until they get their trust back elsewhere. Probably in Labour if they get their mojo back. When the EU was the big bad wolf, they drifted to UKIP. Now that myth has been shot, the Tories are reclaiming their natural status as the enemy of the working man and woman, alongside newer ones as the enemy of the green lobby, etc etc. As soon as there is any kind of believable alternative, I think the Tories will find that fair weather friends aren't reliable. Hence, the constant references to the "levelling up" agenda.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

My response is the same to Boris as it was to Brown and Blair. They are entitled to a holiday, they make decisions that impact the rest of us I want my PM to be fresh and full of good ideas not knackered because he is scared to take a holiday. Apart from the stress of running the country he's lost his mum recently had another kid with another one on the way. The media love to trash any PM who goes on holiday and yet they do the same themselves. I hope Boris has a relaxing time and comes back full of energy.
