Watching Spurs playing under Nino yesterday without any apparent game plan makes me think we were so lucky he chose them over us.Their players don’t seem to be playing for him and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him sacked by Christmas.I am glad we have Vieira as our manager now although I was originally sceptical.

You may be right but in fairness the Spurs board have mishandled the Harry Kane saga and he has now gone missing performance wise.

Their performance in the transfer market was also poor. They offered to take Traore on loan and if they liked him would buy him for £40m. They are supposed to be a big club but behave like a little one, quite rightly Wolves told them to get knotted.

So Nuno hasn't had the support he needs from the cheapskate board.

Too early to tell really, but I'd sure if pre season we'd be ask to chose between Nuno and Viera it would have been a landslide....now it might be different.

Only time will tell with him. He was always backed well at Wolves, and he's walked into a v strong Spurs team but one with some problems. Sure he will turn it around.

But for the moment I'm really happy with what I'm seeing.

I said from the beginning I thought Nuno was an odd choice for Spurs as on the face of it he's a poor man's Mourinho. Having watched them a few times this season I imagine the fans will become quite vocal quite soon. Given they only gave him a two-year deal it reeked of a desperation appointment anyway.

I still think he would have done ok with us as we're more setup to play as a counter-attacking team, but I'm more than happy with Viera so far.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Like MrRobbo I would have put Nuno ahead of PV pre-seas⅚on in our search for a new manager. But, I have to say, I went right off him with his demands (and cost) to take on his coaching staff.

I realise it's early days but right now I'm delighted we said no,no to Nuno. Vieira looks to be a much better fit for us.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I remember Wolves fans saying at the time, be careful what you wish for.

Spurs should have held onto Poch and Eriksen. With Eriksen out, it would have been difficult for them now, but I think his character and skill at delivery were more valuable than management realised. Kane would have been happier, too.

On the upside, they won't be on the phone to Vieira anytime soon. Or anytime at all in fact
