Never started a Topic before so here goes.

Nobody really pointed this out as far as I know (apologies if anyone has!) but this is our 6th game out of 6 which we are facing a top 4 team (hurts to say that!).

In fact this is first game where we are not playing the top team (or equal top). Will be last also as Leicester can't get in top 4 this week.

As for prediction? Well Im confident with a point and with a bounce back and at home I think this could be 3-2 Palace.

Thoughts?

Result could go 1-0 either way as Albion are enjoying the best start in their short Premiership history.

These games usually go the opposite way of form so I will say 2-1 as long as there is a neutral ref

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

3-1. Comfortable win for Palace. Although they are doing well, they have not had our sort of opposition. I reckon our new team will see them off.

I think we'll beat them comfortably.

We are getting better and more confident game by game.

We made it difficult for Liverpool and could have scored a couple ourselves. Only really lost due to some sloppy mistakes which PV will surely be drilling the guys on this week (plus hopefully he has seen first hand that Jairo isnt up to it)

See it as being close.

We've had very different opponents so far but Brighton are a good side and well-established in their passing game. Hope the battle will be won in midfield by Gallagher and Macca and if so think we should get the better chances. Set piece defence a worry though.

2-1 or 1-1

Loving the optimism on this thread!

Form often means the square root of f-all in these games. Like to think we'll win, though we still have the same goalscoring issues as we ever had. OE's 2 goals vs spuds and his cameo vs pool showed promise but no concrete proof of a solution. would love to see MO given more than 10 mins - at least 30 if not more.

They're finally scoring, but our defence will cope with it. I've no doubt they'll target set pieces after the publicity over our 'Pool performance. Lamptey vs Mitchell could cause us a few issues.

Going to be a tough game. Still so many unknowns about our team at the moment and still not sure of our goalscoring credentials this early on and for that reason; 1-1.
though either side could nick it 2-1.

We will win on Monday night, although I still think BHA will be no pushover, so it'll be a small margin.

Our defensive unit is beginning to look pretty stable so we won't concede a goal and if Edouard is selected ahead of Benteke we will score 2.

Therefore POG's prediction is 2-0 in front of a riotous Holmesdale. Good luck lads.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I think it'll be a close game, with us hopefully coming out on top. Maybe a goal in it.

One all draw i"m afraid, although us coming from behind to score near the end makes it feel like a win! Well done Benny boy, you pulled it out of the hat......again!
